Description
The trailhead for Gold Hill is located 4.8 miles up Bottle Bay Road just southeast of Sandpoint, Idaho. Gold Hill is the knoll east of the Long Bridge as you are coming north into town. As fate would have it, I ended up returning to Sandpoint, Idaho, for work after having lived there for several years. It had been four years since I was in northern Idaho. After work this particular evening, I decided to return to the Gold Hill trail for some exercise and scenery. Upon returning to town, I found a new brewery and tried a couple of their beers.
