Description
After successfully climbing the Petit Grepon the previous day, Jeff and I decided to do a quick climb of Young and the Rackless in Boulder Canyon. I have been up the route three times before but always led the easier pitches (1 & 4). Today I led the harder pitches (2 & 3) without too much difficulty. I hesitated briefly at what I consider two of the three cruxes, but generally did pretty good working my way through the moves. We broke the route into four pitches so I could lead the harder sections so it took us 1 hour and 50 minutes car-to-car. If we do it again, I think we will bring a lot of draws and link pitches 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 since we both can now lead the whole route.
