Description

Brian and I caught Three Tiers in probably the best ice climbing shape you are going to get.  There was no snow wallowing or avalanche danger.  We actually had three long pitches of relatively easy WI2-3 ice climbing.  Brian led two of the three pitches before we rappelled off and called it a day.  We ended up at Tommy Knockers Brewery in Idaho Springs, Colorado, on the way home to watch the end of the Ohio State/Michigan football game.
