Description

This was a quick training hike for Dan, Jeff, and myself on the Forth of July.  We went up Kelso Ridge, traversed to Grays Peak, and then took the standard route back to the trailhead.  Jeff was feeling strong and left me in the dust fairly early in the hike.  I did all I could to keep up with Dan too.  We were back in Denver, Colorado, by 11:00 to enjoy the rest of the day.  We even ran into Brian Kooienga another climbing partner taking his two boys up their first 14er.  (1:38/2:05/2:52)
