Description
This was the first year I went to Ouray, Colorado, and didn't climb in the ice park. We all headed up to Camp Bird Road to climb various routes. I teamed up with Jeff Kunkle while Jeff Shafer and John shared a rope. Jeff and I led opposite sides of the first pitch of Chockstone Chimney. It was fairly cold and my line ended up being very wet. Anyway we all made it to the top of the climb and then we rapped off together back down to the road.
