Description
I'm pretty sure Erik and I had planned on All Mixed Up in order for him to get some multi-pitch climbing in while visiting Colorado. However, when we got out of the car at the Glacier Gorge Trailhead, the weather was really poor. The wind was blowing and visibility was limited. We decided to forego a backcountry ice climb and called an audible. Although I hadn't been to Hidden Falls in nine years, I thought I could get us there and this would be a good alternative since we drove up to Estes Park, Colorado, from the metro area.
I know we each led the pitch once and then set up a top rope as more parties arrived. We got several laps in on more difficult lines and were pleased with doing some climbing despite not getting up to Mills Lake and All Mixed Up.
