Description

I'm not exactly sure what the three of us originally intended to climb, but due to a lot of recent snow there weren't many climbs safe from avalanche danger.  We ultimately decided to go to Moffatt Tunnel Ice, which we thought was the best option.  I climbed here once before in 2012.  The approach is short and there was a packed trail to make things even easier.  We each got a few leads in on various lines and then took turns on top rope until we were burnt out.  The first route we did had an interesting and gymnastic finish.  We went into Nederland, Colorado, and had a beer at the James Peak Brewery, Crosscut Taphouse, and Very Nice Brewing Company.  On the drive home we stopped at Strange Craft Brewery for a night cap.
