Description
This was the third new ice climb of the season for me. We drove to Vail, Colorado, and ultimately decided to check out a climb that neither Brian or I had been to. The 19th Hole is west of Pumphouse Falls, and the approach is relatively short and easy. The ice flow consists of two separate short steps separated by a shelf. The climb is easier than East Vail Falls, but somewhat similar how it forms. This would be a good area for a new leader to come or bring new people to introduce them to ice climbing.
