Description
Brian and I took advantage of the clear forecast and did some ice next to Interstate 70 near Georgetown, Colorado. We went mid-morning in order to let the ski traffic clear, but still got lots of climbing in. We each led the lower pitch of the route five or six times before having our fill. We decided not to hike up and check the upper pitch because the ice was fairly soft and we didn't think the other pitch would be climbable based on our previous experience.

I-70 Sickle from the base of the climb.
The pitch reminds me of Hidden Falls in Rocky Mountain National Park.
