Description

I hiked these two peaks approximately two years ago and was kind of bored over Christmas break, so I went down to Monument, Colorado, and hiked them again.  I hadn't been out hiking in a couple of months and it was nice to get out again.  The hike up and down was a bit annoying due to the packed snow and ice on the trail.  You had to be very careful not to fall.  Additional traction would have been very beneficial.  It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get from the trailhead to the summit of Mount Herman.  The traverse from Herman to Raspberry Mountain was about 30 minutes, and the descent from Raspberry back to the trailhead was 45 minutes.
